IELTS stands for International English Language Testing System. IELTS is the most popular English language proficiency test in the world. This test is conducted for accessing the English skills of a candidate like reading, writing and speaking.
IELTS exam is jointly managed by the University of Cambridge ESOL Examinations (Cambridge ESOL), British Council and IDP: IELTS Australia. In IELTS examination, there will be four sections: Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking. Listening section will have four sections and there will be four questions which need to be answered in 30 minutes. In Reading section, candidate will be given academic reading test or a general training reading test. This reading section will be for 60 minutes. In Writing section will be given either academic module or general training module. This writing section will be for 60 minutes. The Speaking section will have one-to-one interview with a specially trained examiner.
